WHAT TO MIX WITH OUR POWDER MASKS

As you probably already guessed, we’re pretty fond of powder facial masks—and for good reason. For starters, they’re customizable which means they’re great for just about any skin type. Also, upon activating a our facial masks you’re unleashing all the benefits the ingredients have to offer, which in turn, ensures the potency of each ingredient.  So if you’re wondering what exactly you can mix with our powder masks besides just water—then you’re in luck! We’ve rounded up our favorite mixing agents below, all of which can most likely be found right in your pantry or fridge.

WATER

An obvious (and easy) choice, but still worth mentioning because our masks have been formulated to activate and be extremely effective by simply mixing them with a few teaspoons of water—and this works for just about any skin type.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar has gotten quite the hype over the last few years—but for good reason! If you tend to have more oily, breakout prone skin, then mixing our masks with some apple cider vinegar may be the answer you’ve been looking for. It helps to balance your pH as well as calm any active breakouts. If you’re nervous to use apple cider vinegar (since it can be a bit strong) try mixing with a little bit of water and vinegar and viola!

GREEK YOGURT

This is a our favorite for all skin types and if you’re looking for something with a little more exfoliation power. The natural lactic acid helps to break down dead skin cells, which is key if you have skin that's more on the oily or combination side but also the perfect remedy for dry itchy skin. This is also a great choice for those with sensitive skin since the yogurt never fully dries which is often the reason clay masks can sometimes be problematic for them. Another tip—you can mix the mask then pop it in the fridge for 10 minutes to make it extra cooling, which feels great on a hot day.

ALOE

Aloe is another great option if you have dry or sensitive skin and is also a humectant, which not only makes it moisturizing but incredibly soothing. You can also mix a little bit of aloe and honey together with the mask if you’re looking for a little extra hydration.

HONEY

I'd recommend adding this superstar to all of the choices above for a little moisture boost. Again this is another additive that is perfect for all skintypes whether you have dry, sensitive oily, or acne prone skin. Honey is a humectant which means it helps to retain and attract moisture to the skin, so mixing it with either of our powder masks means you’ll be left with soft and hydrated skin. It also has antiseptic properties which can help to ward off and even prevent breakouts. Mix a teaspoon of honey in you mask with water, ACV, Greek yogurt, or aloe and you'll be glowing in no time.

I purchased the eucalyptus shower streamer love it. It opens up my sinus and smells great. Learned about your business through my spa who carried your body scrubs and body butter. Thank you, great products.

Kellie, I am a repeat customer (first time at a street festival in Fells Point). I love the coconut and rose scrub. The scent is refreshing and my skin feels soft and smooth afterwards.

I absolutely love the Honey Almond body scrub. Probably the best scrub that I’ve ever used…consistently!

I have been using earth elements products for months now. The Tumeric carrot with honey soap is the absolute best. I have very dry skin and I suffer with rosacea and this soaps definitely helps with my dry inflamed skin. In addition, I tried the super foods clay mask and it left my face feeling moisturized and refreshed.
